INGREDIENTS
1 rack of pork spareribs
1 tablespoon cumin
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon granulated garlic
1 tablespoon granulated onion
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 tablespoons kosher salt
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon white pepper
1 tsp liquid smoke (optional)
DIRECTIONS
Preheat over to 325 degrees
Combine all spices to create your dry rub. If you don’t have these spices and don’t want to buy them, just by a pre-made rub like McCormick’s.
Remove the membrane from the bone side of the ribs, if it hasn’t already been removed.
Pour the rub over the ribs and work the rub fully and evenly over both sides of the meat
Wrap ribs tightly in foil, adding your tsp of liquid smoke and bake at 325 for 3 hours.
Remove ribs from oven and baste with your favorite BBQ sauce.
Finish on the grill to get that nice bark, or crank the oven up to 450 and finish them by cooking about 6-8 minutes per side.
