I used to keep a list of my favorite songs in a notepad on my old laptop. You know how when you hear a song you love that you haven’t heard in a really long time and you’re like, “OH! I forgot all about that song!” I LOVE music so I was determined not to forget them again. The list grew long and some nights I would just enjoy pulling up the You Tube videos and listening to them. Alexa helps solve that. I can build my playlist on Amazon and just ask Alexa to play it. Sometimes I think I must have the strangest, most eclectic play list of any human. You might hear Foo Fighters, Jason Aldean, 30 Seconds to Mars, Lady Gaga, Kid Rock, The Rolling Stones, Chris Stapleton, Dr. Dre, Pretty Reckless, Adele, Reba, Stone Temple Pilots, Imagine Dragons, Luke Combs and Prince in succession. There’s other oddities including a smattering of Dubstep and 80’s music, plus some old country songs from my childhood. It’s impossible for me to order my favorite songs. It varies from day-to-day, but one thing I can tell you. After much contemplation I can say with confidence that my favorite band is The Rolling Stones. I can also say that none of my top five favorite songs are by the Rolling Stones. They win the top spot due to the sheer volume of awesome songs. So even though none are in my top five, there may be 15 in my top 100. One things it’s important to know about my musical preferences is that I like snappy music. That’s not to say that my playlist doesn’t include some ballads, but it’s definitely heavy on the upbeat tunes.

Okay. Those are what popped into my head this evening. The top five are pretty solid, but the order is fluid. Just random songs I really like. I could add at least five songs from The Foo or Chris Stapleton or others from Adele and Luke Combs. I don’t even have any Kid Rock, Rihanna or Pink on here and only one Eminem (even though he’s genius). This is an incredibly hard list to make. I love music!
