INGREDIENTS
1 box/bag (10 oz.) frozen chopped spinach, completely thawed and squeezed dry
1 container (16 oz.) sour cream
1 cup Hellmann’s Mayonnaise
1 package Knorr brand (or similar) onion soup mix
1 can (8 oz.) water chestnuts, drained and diced
6 green onions, diced
INSTRUCTIONS
Combine all ingredients and chill about 2 hours. Great served with dark rye bread!
Notes* – Make a lighter version by substituting 1 container (16 oz.) nonfat plain Greek yogurt for sour cream and using Hellmann’s with olive oil, or a reduced fat Hellman’s.
