The Rub
McCormick Grill Mates Brown Sugar Bourbon Seasoning
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 TBS Black Pepper
1 TBS Garlic Powder
2 – 3 lb center cut pork loin
You can certainly make your own rub by eliminating the McCormicks and using your own spice blend.
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 425 degrees
Mix all dry rub ingredients together
Line a 9 X 13 baking dish with foil and spray with cooking spray
Trim excess fat from pork loin as needed
Thoroughly cover pork with your spice rub
Bake at 425 for 40 minutes
Reduce temperature to 250 degrees and bake for 3-4 additional hours depending on weight, or to an internal temperature of 180 degrees
Remove from oven and let rest for one hour
