No Shadow for Phil

This week was Groundhog’s Day. I think it was like 60 degrees. Crazy! I hate to even type about how mild this winter has been, but I am very thankful. Here we are in February and we haven’t had very many bad days and almost no snow. The best part is that we’ve had so many days over 50. I know sometimes March can suck, but when we hit March I feel like winter is almost over. Clearly Punxsutawney Phil agrees with me because he didn’t see his shadow this year which means EARLY SPRING!

S is in Chicago this week. I miss him. He just sent me a text saying he loves me and hates being away. Seems silly right? We’re together 24/7, and when we’re home, we’re often in our own spaces doing our own things, but we know the other one is there, ya know?

I am currently ready the Nevernight Chronicles by Jay Kristoff. Very enjoyable. It’s a trilogy. Books 1 and 2 both had some pretty good twists at the end. Right now I am watching A Star is Born (the new one). I’ve seen it before, but I’m bored and I love hearing her sing. It’s so sad though. The end is hard to watch. I’m also watching The Outsider which is an adaptation of a Stephen King book. It’s really good so far.

We’re heading to Columbus on Sunday for T’s birthday. I can’t wait to see everyone. My mom and I got him a Jeep. JDub had one when she was a kid and she always loved it. I know T is going to go crazy for it. Jessy is baking an Elmo cake. Both grandmas are coming up too. Should be a great day.
