Cases worldwide sit at 1,849,685, with cases in the U.S. nearing 600,000. Deaths worldwide have surpassed 114,000 with U.S. deaths at about 22,000. Mostly it’s fine here. It’s still hard to find some things at the grocery. The good news is that we have lots of tea, almonds, coffee, toilet paper and Atkins bars. I’m slightly freaked out that I have not been able to get pork chops, brats or Italian sausage for two weeks, but I have another pick-up order scheduled for Wednesday so hopefully I can get some then.
Today was Easter. JDub did an Easter egg hunt for the boys and sent a video. So cute. Basically, life is going on. S & I jogged. (I was reading over a post from last year and chuckling at how I said that I hate walking with S. Now look at us! Jogging together. I’m not sure that will last over the summer. He sleeps too late and I hate walk/jogging when it’s too hot.) Next we went to Walmart for a pick-up grocery order. Then we made linner and watched an action movie!
I am on book four of the Lightbringer series. Not being able to just go to the store for things is a drag. One of the light bulbs in our pendant lights burned out and I had to order replacements. First world problems, right?
The good news is that even though tomorrow is Monday, I still get to sleep in and walk the 50 feet to my office! It makes a big difference. I could work from home all the time easily. I love the extra time in the morning to workout. Our laundry is always done and we both get more sleep. Random… but speaking of sleep, have I ever mentioned how wonderful my bed is? It’s amazing. Every night when I lay down, it’s so so comfortable that I wonder why I don’t spend more time there.
The weather forecast calls for lows in he 30’s Tuesday and Wednesday. I can’t wait for summer! We need it to get hot soon!
