Heading off to Chicago Monday for a client visit. It’s been more than 30 years since I’ve been there. Thankfully the weather is supposed to be pretty decent. I think the forecast is for high 40s each day.
S & I traveled there together in May 1989. We were fortunate enough to see the Cincinnati Reds play the Cubs at Wrigley. The Reds won 10 – 8. The following year the Reds would go “wire to wire” and win the World Series.
In more current sporting news, the Flyers won their 18th straight last night, on national television no less. They clinched the A-10 title. Good stuff. So so excited for March Madness. ESPN Gameday coming to Dayton next Saturday. Good stuff!
Last week I wrote that I found it unlikely I’d see any big time drops in my 5K times because 38.09 was so grueling. I am proud to report that this morning I crushed it, going 36.45! It was rough, but I did it. I can’t wait for our 5Ks in May. I doubt there’s any way I’ll break 37, but doing them at all is exciting.
Last week I went to the doctor. I am happy to report that besides a vitamin D deficiency all my results were good. Yes J-Dub, I have been taking vitamin D every day! XOXO
